How can I connect eBay and DATEV?
With Billbee, it takes three simple steps: Add your eBay shop to Billbee, then connect the DATEV accounting data service, and configure the settings in Billbee.
Can I connect my eBay shop to DATEV without middleware?
With the DATEV payment service provider data service for eBay, it is theoretically possible to transfer your data from eBay to DATEV without middleware. However, the service only transfers payments and fees—not the actual invoice or revenue entries for the items themselves. You will therefore still need an upstream invoicing tool that also handles tax assessment (e.g., for OSS).
How long does it take to set up the eBay-DATEV interface?
The connection usually takes just a few minutes, as there are direct interfaces for both eBay and DATEV. Please note that you must first apply for the connection to the DATEV Buchungsdatenservice (accounting data service) through DATEV. Once this is activated, you can connect DATEV directly using your consultant and client number.
