Execute automations on a scheduled basis

In certain cases, it may be useful not to execute certain automations immediately, but only after a certain period of time. A classic example of this is, for example, the shipping of Payment reminders. Here you want to give your customers a certain amount of time to pay the bill before you point out the payment that has not yet been made. Of course, there are many other situations in which delayed automation can be useful, which is why you can adapt Billbee's automations entirely to your workflow!

Best practice: Sending a payment reminder

An order arrives at your online shop and now you are waiting for payment to be received so that you can finally ship the order. A few days go into the country and you still haven't received any payment. Perhaps now is the right time to remind the buyer to pay.

With the “Trigger event” action, you can create events that are delayed for a period of time defined by you. With a second rule with the “Event triggered” trigger, you can then have this automation executed after your defined period of time.

Do you now set as the event”Payment reminder“, then Billbee checks whether a payment date could be assigned to the order. If this is not the case, an email text will be sent as a payment reminder, which you defined beforehand and with placeholders individualized.

And the best part is that you don't have to keep an eye on when you need to send which payment reminder, because Billbee does this automatically using automation rules!
